Typology Book & Type Specimen - 2019
Typology: The Classifications of Typefaces is an editorial book that explores the various classifications of typefaces and their defining characteristics. Designed as part of a university project, this work demonstrates the development and application of a cohesive visual system across a multi-page publication.
The book’s theme explores the expressive, playful side of typography, balanced with traditional typographic principles, through a clean, modern aesthetic and bright colour palette.
Following this project, I created a type specimen on the typeface Libre Baskerville, continuing the same visual approach and colour palette.
This type specimen was attached to the exterior of the main Typology publication.
